Hello,
I have the following problem: I am trying to AVI files with the software Ulead Video Studio 10 to open - but there's always the following error message:
Access to (file path and name) is not possible. But I have Full Control permissions to the files and can be eg with Windows Media Player to open and view.
Can someone help me - I really do not know more next!

Is this file perhaps (even) in process with another program? What is it for an avi file? Mpeg1, divx, etc.?

Hi,
I chanced upon the contribution rise since I had the same problem.
Here, only just missing XVid codec. Google, download, install and that was it.

Here, only just missing XVid codec. This solution of course holds true only if it is in the AVI files with the Xvid content.
AVI is a container format and says that on the actual content is not much.

I have the same problem and find the xvid codec, unfortunately not!
If I generally xvid again for Vista will install the video studio of the codec is not installed ...
