First I would like you a Happy New Year.
I have a small problem. To view the pictures of my new camcorder on the calculator to get me, I have a firewire card installed. This worked synonymous for two weeks (with Ulead Video Studio7) flawlessly, but now the system just hangs always on when I turn on the Cam.
To work around this problem without uninstalling SP2 I put the pictures on a Mac to be on our network on my calculator to draw.
Only it is the file format. Dv neither with Windows Movie Maker or Ulead open. How can I change the format without quality loss convert?

rather than to go through another computer to go, I would try to address the problem with the Windows PC to get to the bottom.
What have you changed since the last time it worked? And did you perhaps an image to all those ungeschehen changes to make?

thank you for your quick reply.
Unfortunately, I have no image is generated and after the installation of some programs card installed (Goldwave, Audacity)
In Device Manager the card is recognized, drivers did not purchase when I noticed, after the User Guide to the Windows driver.
I have assumed that the problem to the already frequently discussed SP2 problem, if there is a solution without the Mac, there would be a detour, of course, the better.
Do you know a solution approach without image?

The suffix. Dv indicate a capture with iMovie out. It is a different container format than the usual. Mov-DV. The simplest solution would be, when you export only in> Quicktime movie> Recruitment: Own> Options> DV - PAL highest quality to go. The speed with which the export process is complete, shows you have here is merely a DV stream to a file demuxed, recalculated is little (no re-compression of the photographic material). Or you capture, as proposed by cj directly with Quicktime
