hello everybody!
would be great if you could help me here ;-).
I have film on DVD (. vob) and as synonymous. avi file.
no preference whether you will. vob file to. mpg and renaming in windows movie maker import, or the. avi file is only the sound but no picture.
mpgs other (eg from the network of withdrawn or imported digital camera) to work smoothly. what am I doing wrong? how do I get the picture? be trimmed several forums have similar problems, it seems to give, but not my specific. Please call for beginners to understand the answer ... THANK YOU!

The problem had a buddy synonymous. Lad dir mal den Windows Media Player 11 down. That has helped my buddy synonymous. Otherwise, perhaps a System Restore.

I have already. and also run the movies flawlessly. this is about the capture in movie maker. Incidentally hab windows vista a few weeks (new pc). it may be that older videos are not tolerated with vista ...? if so - what to do?

Have synonymous Vista, but it does everything. So it should not lie. What you maybe should try is the videos to other formats to convert. Have good experience with the Magic Video Converter. Can you have a free trial download. An attempt would be worth it.

aaah, a first success! did with the magic video converter the converted file - as wma's working now! However, as the avi still does not. if there who has an idea, what's wrong - I would be very welcome. but as far as ever totally sincere thanks!

OK, we come ever closer to the solution. It could lie s.Avi codec.

The tools that you can download for free. Otherwise google times after avi codecs. As I said to my buddy, the WMM synonymous only annoyed. It is usually always a small mistake with big impact.

wanted me out and register again for all hints thanks! I was then but ultimately not satisfied that it is only with the conversion to wma worked. free-download versions of converters have also changed only 5 minutes - and I needed more.
maybe I would be with avi codex & co. got ... I for one think megalomaniac, but I did on my recommendation "magix" fetched - and am now happy! synonymous classical problem, which I had previously with pinnacle, are - at present - all the past. I can from all sources of material in all video formats and upload process - top!
