Hello Forum,
anyone knows whether the 16xZoom XL 5.5-88mm (1:1,6-2,6 - 72mm) of the Canon XL1, directly or via adapter s.der new EOS D5 Mark II can be used? Perhaps there is even experience.

16xZoom ... ... XL1 directly or via adapter ... EOS D5 Mark II .. Conversely, an EOS Lens s.die XL-series would be possible, but so? Skip's not the case and adapter on, it is highly unlikely. If anyone would build such a, it would probably Novoflex or Zörk.
