I am an absolute newcomer to the camcorder industry and now looking for the right camcorder for my girlfriend and me.
He is currently used for holiday pictures.
I've been a bit on the Internet and compatriots synonymous in various specialist shops asked ... only I'm still undecided.
I had s.eines of the following devices:
SonyHDR-SR11
Advantage:
- 60 GB hard drive
Disadvantage:
- Expensive Memory Sticks
- No external batteries used
Panasonic HDC-SD100
Disadvantage:
- Test yourself in the VAD - not just good results
Canon HG20
Advantage:
- 60GB hard drive
- When tested as Slashcam HG21 - as well
Disadvantage:
- Poor support and warranty?
Maybe you can help me ....

I have the HG 20 am more than zufrieden.Ich have an Intel P4 2x 3200MHz and there are almost no problems in processing (Pinn Studio 12.)

That you can easily figure out the best data, the RF 11, HG 20 and 21-24 MBit / sec so 3 MB / s, with the usual 17 MBit / sec synonymous operate the cameras, Panasonic and Sony are not yet in 24 MBit / sec.
So 3 MB sec * 3600 = 10800 MB / h - that is, approximately 6 h in the best quality at 60 GB.

Highly recommend a Canon WW-WD H37II. You can always leave it. Protects the Cam and brings in more with what s.Gewicht for free shots.
