Thank you Marco for your quick reply.
But where is the exactly! That with Movie Studio Platinum 720p/50 (50 Progressive!) Can handle?
I have the manual of the latest version 8 times and there is really nothing to find of this resolution.

Hi Flo,
You're very confident with your well-intentioned response.
But as I already synonymous Marco asked: please where is the exactly that 720p/50 (50 !!!!) Progressive is editable.
One must carefully. It is the industry very general terms, one can HDV with this software and those cut. But HDV is still far from HDV. Even HDV1 is not HDV1. There is a difference if I worked 25P or 50P!.
You say all the software can cut HD. (HD is not synonymous turn HDV)
Then please give me a software for PC that can handle 720p/50 and I would you like for a link, where you can read exactly grateful.

it is not generally to HD.
HD is not HDV synonymous!
It's about the special HDV1 format 720p/50 (fifty Progressive !!!).
You should not throw into a pot.
720p/25 is not the problem. There are several software.

I do not know if somewhere on the Movie Studio (Platinum), or extra writing Vegas is listed. I can only from our own experience and from the basic program philosophy say.
Is decisive for how the project settings can be defined. There are the usual format is synonymous ready presets, but actually are designed, a program a quick beginners guide to offer.
Away from these ready presets can be offered but the project settings are more or less according to their own needs. And so the project settings can also be synonymous converted to 720p50. I myself have worked with such projects. Just as with 576p50.

if zb. uncompressed material is (eg 3d animation) then
