Infoseite // Jerky DVD - PAL / NTSC problem?

Frage von williwau:

Hello folks!

I assume with a dreambox DVB-S transport streams to disk and to convert them into DVDs for. this is so:
1. ts files are with the ffmpeg (option-dvd) in MPEG2 changed (ffmpeg claimed PAL recognized zuhaben)
2. The MPEGs are with dvdauthor (exact qdvdauthor) converted into a DVD and burned with K3B.
(note: I use Suse Linux and open source throughout)

It functions wonderfully (and I am happy and content in an accurate howto if they want), BUT:

the mpeg s.softwareplayer go perfectly, s.DVD-player is a problem:
PAL playback: fast bilder "shakes", ie it looks as if only every 4te/5te image is shown. I turn on
NTSC to: reproducing the liquid, but quickly objekte are horizontally striped (interference pattern?).

slow pictures are perfect in quality.

after this is the last "missing link" for the perfect DVD production, I am extremely grateful for the tips!

Hello!

got my problem solved itself! (Yesterday evening, had an inspiration).

my DVD production from ts-streams is now perfectly and efficiently (encoding time on AMD3800 + is significantly lower than the maturity of the videos).

It would be nice if you had shared this knowledge, it is just another dead end in an endless google search ;-(
