Infoseite // Premiere 6.5: Bar / banding in MPEG2 exports; Umwandl. NTSC to PAL

Frage von GhostDog:

Hello,

I've already read here x contributions, the problem could possibly fit my, but really find I have not become.

I have a DVD (NTSC) which contains video clips recorded from TV. With DVDShrink, I have now extracted the first clip, "" and with VobEdit ge-demuxed. The resulting m2v file is overdubbed into Adobe Premiere 6.5 and afterward issued as PAL MPEG2 file will be. So far, all synonymous worked quite well, BUT : In the completed output file dive bar always in movement / Strip in the video on and I have no idea how the wegbekomme. Otherwise, the result is very good!

a) Is it because of that I NTSC to PAL "convert" and thus may not ever be avoided?
b) war, I somehow with the interlaced settings gone? (Because I actually tried all three variants, a deinterlace setting in the Adobe MPEG encoder, I could not see before.)
c) Is there any way s.den project settings?
d) Must I convert the raw material may erstmal, if so, how?

So far I've done it in Adobe Premiere 6.5 so I have a PAL Project was created, I which I then imported the m2v file. According to the premiere of the file looks like this:

Frame Size: 704 x 480
Top of the Time Code: 29.97 FPS
Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1 / DV NTSC (0.9)

Remainder is unknown or unavailable.

I hope you enjoyed with my details and descriptions of what to do and help me:)

LG
Benjamin

Antwort von Markus:

Hello Benjamin,

for whatever reason, the m2v file as PAL MPEG2 should be spent? Start simple but an NTSC project, edit the sound and export the timeline as NTSC MPEG2. Virtually every PAL DVD players can play NTSC DVDs.
