you want to ask whether there is a Progam with whom one DVD including menus and all the bells and tuned to be able to transcode the ntsc of pal or vice versa.

It is easier for the various DVD consumer to take a PAL DVD player to the NTSC playback controls. Most probably a normal DVD player can be with a not very old TV set with us anyway even NTSC playback.
If they could only with NTSC DVDs in our DVD players (or DVD drives, hooks), is that often not s.NTSC per se, but s.einem stupid region code.
The region code is to restrict the range of DVDs (Multiple markets = more earning opportunities ...). Again, there officially or unofficially DVD player not care where the region code.

As Steven would say the two: Only hardship However, conversely, did the conversion this way or that mean a loss of quality, it would be better to convert the film further out from the native (DV?) Format, not just the finished DVD. A umkonvertierte (mpeg> mpeg) PAL DVD in the U.S. is estimated to have VHS quality.

But somehow I can not imagine why there simply is no program that I am of a DVD file (vob), again a DVD file (vob) format including menus created, hold only in Pal or NTSC.

Such software is not from the perspective of DVD producers interesting. An All-In-One solution is technically a compromise. And the Marketing-/Verkaufsabteilung is separate PAL and NTSC DVDs anyway prefer.
Such software is not from the perspective of a regular DVD consumer interest. For the low price one Noname-DVD player with NTSC playback omnivorous or a DVD drive in the PC lies down None a special software for the conversion of an NTSC DVD.
Allow it from the perspective of DVD software producers do not be very interesting to write as a conversion program and market it.

mfG St0rm Then look at the structure of a DVD at times. A conversion in one direction or another (PAL <> NTSC) is not a 1:1 conversion but necessarily include changing the amount of data of each file and the "collected works" through the frame rate change, the chapter points evt, etc. Does need the whole recalculated and structured (be geauthored). Therefore, you need only your DVD split into parts, then convert and then re-assemble. Whether you like it or not :-)

true ... this is the most time-consuming restoration of the DVD menu's and so on. The conversion of VOBs is not so complicated (but fraught with quality loss). When Menudarstellung need not be identical, eg you need is "super" for the conversion of the VOB's and an authoring tool.

Well, I know slys DVD yes, but not ggf there's up to 8 audio channels each with up to 8 tracks in various formats and up to 32 subtitles. And if there is a training DVD is able to be there yet integrated links ...
Since he apparently does business (he writes ... I find the software for a company would have to ...) should he / the company really have the opportunity to create a new master. That would be a breeze.
