Servus.
Ich hab mal ne question to which I so far have found no answer:
I have video footage (MiniDV) get what was recorded in 16:9. Unfortunately I have only here to restore my consumer-4 :3-Camera. When I play the tapes - logically - is `s distorted.
The vehicle should I cut (with AVID Xpress Pro - but synonymous Premiere Pro I have available).
The question:
the material, I can now quite normal in AVID capture, cut (Prview monitor so I can switch to 16:9 ...) and again at MY CAM off? Must I then n n 4:3 or 16:9 Project do?
I lack the technical background to understand whether I ne 4:3 to 16:9 Camera synonymous material may be off ....

Hello,
determine the image format data on the MiniDV tape, not the camcorder, the tape is reproduced. If it is an anamorphic 16:9 recording, then capture the contents synonymous in this format and ignore what the camcorder while on his display screen.
Edited the material in a 16:9-off the Project and is also with this setting. Check times with one minute of video workflow, before you start!
Whether off to the camcorder works flawlessly, I can not predict to you (did not even tell you the model). But if the synonymous Picture s.Camcorders later be distorted, there is no loss of copy in the usual sense before.

When the camera shows the material gequetcht, then it is anamorphic video. This means that in the separating program anamorphic PAL DV (or so änhlich) select, it is in any case in Final Cut. With Avid, or Premiere Pro, I do not know, but it should be synonymous with the opportunity, DV PAL anamorphic widescreen format in the display.

I play the material is now a cut n few seconds and what `s playing out again. Let's see what happens. Camcorder is also a Panasonic NV GS-70 (3CCD).
I've noticed that I AVID ja hab no chance, a 16:9 Project to define. While I was at Premiere yes between standard and widescreen can choose, this is when you create a project in AVID Xpress Pro ja gar nicht. Is it for AVID therefore no preference what the pixel aspect ratio to have? Or I can teach one a lesson ...
Still ne question: My cam shows when applying to the material that is LP. What I can not imagine, because the people actually have done, which is so familiar and I assume that not long play filmed (it is a concert recording, 30min, 4 tapes). Could it be that my cam as a result of the anamorphic pixel aspect ratio and therefore misinterpreted LP shows? On a TV monitor sees me sees the material is not mandatory according to LP from - hold little bit of color saturation. So rather 1CCD "cheap" camcorder ...

LP and pixel aspect ratio are two completely different pairs of shoes. You can see the difference, incidentally: Does the recording with the right speed? If yes, friends with you on the idea that the cameraman and slept in LP has filmed. ;-)

However, large LP problems, particularly with regard to the playability of the images are on other camcorders. So you've seen seem very lucky.

I had so many times with LP material to do so. They were then mainly compatibility problems (see below), but because I had never problems with the speed.
