AVID Audio-Sound Calibration Tool / levels off before
Frage von Chris555: Februar 2009
Hello together,
I would be interested in how the sound in the audio tool (peak-meter) must be calibrated so that I get a DVD s.TV in the right volume to get heard. If there are two differences between broadcasters and their own DVD? The Reference Level is currently-9dB. Did I think something is one of-3db?
Regards, Chris
PS of AVID Xpress Pro is here to talk!

Hello!
If you make a Reference Level in the audio tool to -9 dBFS keys, you're at 0 dB DIN and in Europe so ever on the right track. :)
Between your sound mixing in the Avid and what the DVD player as an audio output levels, but again is the first AC-3-transcoder that your WAVE or AIFF export from the Avid after Dolby Digital converts. Since each software its own preset soup cooks, helps s.sich only a glance at the manual's use Transcoder.
