for some years, I work professionally with the Creative Suite of Adobe and now half a year with the CS4 version. Unfortunately, I have constantly trouble with the above programs and am after several conversations with the Adobe Hotline and many wasted days of Herumprobierens still not clear where the problem is. So I am curious whether others may have similar experiences.
After the first few weeks with the one in my opinion, outrageously immature version of the software, I am synonymous for updates, unfortunately, still a VERY dissatisfied with the overall performance of the suite.
When playing of HD material is often the cursor on the timeline and the sound is "ratternd" played. Until the Media Encoder starts, often several minutes pass and when I see how long it takes today, a Still Image to export the tears come to me.
If Encore DVD writing, it is always 1 GB 1 GB of written synonymous if the DVD has 4 GB. Start I have a Premiere Project, I find masse empty timelines, which are called 'no editing window. Where are they?
Major projects in Encore forcing the whole computer to its knees. Encore has a few projects I have completely destroyed. Symptoms: If a saved project, I recall, the timelines are no longer active. Yes, as an Adobe installer is a strange thing ...
That is why I prefer to remain CS3 (synonymous because of the prices), they run with me halfway stable.
Best video on the PC is not much other software installed.

I have been working since mid-January as an amateur with CS4. The many nerves indisposition arg. With ME and Encore, I had no really major problems, but I have little time. One problem that concerns me now A daily nerves, is the dynamic link between PP and AE. With the command "by AE Comp replace" While it works, for example stabilize AE. Thanks for your answers. Do good to see that you're not alone, or that there is hope for improvement there. Be my system again from scratch up. I said as the Adobe hotline that can give problems when you first installed AntiVir and then the suite. Honestly, how can you know something?
In case of emergency, I go back to 3rd CS
