Infoseite // At the start of Avid error C + + Runtime Error

Frage von mavi:

Hello,

I can not open my Avid Program / Xpress HD /. There always comes the error C + + Runtime Error ....
My question is, if I install a new version of Avid to the Calculator, then I think next film editing without any problems. This would be very important, because the film should be cut only just finished yet played out as mpeg.
I would be very happy about an answer.

Basically, Avid Xpress backwards compatible, ie for example Avid Xpress DV 4.0 is projects that were created in Avid Xpress DV 3.5, Open (For Xpress HD) should be subject to the synonymous.
Delete not used by the Project Media files (video, audio, graphics, etc.) and secure before reinstalling everything important from the Avid application folder (project files, batch lists, settings, etc.). Then you can have your "old" Project with edit next to the "new" Avid.

Another addendum. Another quote from Thread:
"The Avid folders under Programs and the directories for the projects are at XPress Pro deleted when you uninstall not generally synonymous, and that's a good thing. When I imagine, with every little update (as of 5.2.2 to 5.2 now make .3) a backup of my personal preferences, I think I would 'get ne crisis since Avid does with every update to uninstall the program.
