Hi folks, I have a problem with the installation of
Avid XpressPro HD 5.2.4. - During installation, the error message: dvbuffers.s.konnte not be registered, as this was "unauthorized storage area" would happen.
- I have the installation anyway and had continued to me afterwards, when trying to start Avid, consult the following:
"Error: Access violation s.0x7C34240D (tried to write to 0x00000000), program terminated."
Apparently the program does not work with two CPUs in my dual-core processor, because after I one of the two using the command: "/ onecpu" (in my "boot.ini" file in the editor)

Who has a better solution to this problem seem familiar? The dual core does not buy without good reason and most other programs, including my operating system with two chips.
Even my old Avid Xpress version ran on the Avidseite and you can read that the program of house from dual-core support.

I have the same problem with my new dual-core pc and synonymous'm very desperate because I have no answer had heard or read. In the Avid forum is also synonymous sued. Yes exactly. Premiere was at my very unreliable and Frickel. When exporting, there were serious errors (for example, the stroboscopic effect lies not realize) and many things can be easily and elegantly solved faster. But of course, is synonymous taste.

The original poster had an AMD -> of the Avid will not officially supported and it might therefore be subject s.Processor (although many still running).
I had until last year a HT P4 with Win XP Home and ran as far as the relatively stable, synonymous if it is a system was not certified (s.Home So it is not).
