Infoseite // FX1 XLR Adapter

Frage von deleuw:

Hello,

recently SonyFX1 I call my own. Now I have to join in the search for an adapter with the quality I microphones.

The only ones I've found so far are of the Beachtek. Are there any other Manufacturer, for example, European s.deren products is one better.

You can not actually take simply a jack to XLR adapter of Small?

Thank you in advance for Euro answers.

Stephan!

Yes, but that the possible cable route is extremely limited.

Once you click through the links and read Get involved:
Why should s.einen consumer camcorder is no longer connected microphone cable?

I bought a low-noise stereo microphone amplifier, the background noise is much quieter than the original FX1 microphone amplifier. Only downside is the extra weight (500gr) and no 48V phantom power. Furthermore, I have yet to convert on the part FX1 Batteries.

Danke erstmal.

That would be associated with some work, as voltage conversion, adaptation to the tripod, and a lack of phantom power.

It can not be true that only Beachtek with an adapter so busy!

Only a short time as an indication:
The joke is actually on the balanced XLR associated transmission of signals!
Ie by the transfer of anti-phase such as a microphone signal to two separate cores will be strengthened at the "beneficiary" with 180 degree rotation and overlay of a vein, and interspersed with the wanted signal interference, which are now exactly opposite phase wiped out in return.
For example, the hum and berüchtrigte "Prazzeln" of dimmer installations.
One can indeed synonymous with an asymmetrical line XLR soldering, but this one begins with a full, the noise!
Ie sound disaster such as when concert film, theater, concerts - anywhere hats lighting systems and dimmer, because the sound is broken guaranteed.
Remedy for the FX-1: An external, balanced mic preamp with balanced inputs and unbalanced only a very short cable to the FX 1, which is supplied by the preamp with pegel Line -.

This is not the problem, symmetric unbalanced microphone amplifier, there are like sand in the sea (with battery but ).... None of them has 48V phantom power, which subsequently reduces the microphone much of a choice ......

I have now, but opted for Beachtek nen. But not for the DXA-FX adapter that is to be so specific to the FX1. But I decided for an older model of the DXA-6 Dual, because when I save more than $ 200.

I hope it still works with the phantom power, time to try direct when he arrived from England.

The Stephan!
