Hello,
I created just a first test movies with the new-bought Vegas Movie Studio 9 (Platinum Pack). I have both "render as ..." Create as synonymous "movie" tried and used a variety of output formats and settings, but the problem remains the same: The completed and stored on hard drive file can be true in Media Player and open in VLC, but there is only a black picture and no sound .
Can someone help me to solve your problem?

Starting material: SD of the MiniDV (Panasonic NV-GS300).
According to Project: 720x576x32, 25,000 i
Output Settings:
"simple" avi:
- Video for Windows (avi)
- Default Template (uncompressed) (720x576x32).
The result is the same for all templates describe how.
Of the following options do I have to render the pre-maintained (check on "Only Loopregion" and save to 'project marker in media file ").
Edit: It seems to be synonymous no preference as to which material I use. Just now I even have a clip from another project tentatively rendered. But this brings synonymous neither picture nor sound.

Complement Loopregion
Cursor s.den film set top> Ctrl. + Press I
= Early Loopregion
Cursor at the end of the film set (or a bit later)> Ctrl. + O Press
= End of Loopregion

Embarrassing, but I had no suspicion that the default preferences such problems might bring with him. Obviously these Loopregion (was that I never consciously set!) Too short, right? Therefore, only this black video, yes? Grrmbl:)

Oh Yes ... sorry, I'm "taxed" ...
So Ctrl. omitted, only I and / or O for the loop region.
By abandoning the hook hats so synonymous worked.
