Hi8 => DVD / DVD recorder, D8 Camera, A / D converter or graphics card ,...?

Hello,
I have old Hi8 recordings on cassettes and would like to take this on DVD archive. I'd pretty much all the options for the consumer area my Hi8 tapes to DVD to bring, but if ichs already applied, I would like synonymous with the best possible method.
For existing equipment: Camera SonyD8 of the cousin, Canopus A / D converter by friend DVD Recorders, a pretty good calculator with Firewire, graphics card with analog input, Sony DV camcorder with an analog input.
I've already been using DVD recorders, using D8 Camera and Firewire, as well as on the DV camcorder and Firewire recorded, but I could not subjective quality differences. It must, however, a difference exist.
Where are the differences? What should I use my tapes Digitizer?

Why are you so keen to see a difference to want to? Of course, we could now go into detail and pixel by pixel the Picture investigated. But someday there will be philosophical.
The important thing is that with the quality you're happy and if all roads lead to Rome, then you just search the scenic route from! ;-)

thanks for the answer, one I would like to note: neither pixels nor analysis, I would like the issue to be philosophically degenerate.

A question I often of friends has been synonymous for I had no answer is in context: If I only go to the archive (without editing, etc.) why should I work across the PC do if I already by 99 ¬ a DVD recorder can buy, it can just as well.
