Hi Leutz!
I've got a very strange problem importing. I cut with Avid Xpress pro. Since my camcorder is not with the program for them (why always synonymous), I capture my DV material Winbugs with Movie Maker and then let the scenalyser run over the material, so I finally szeniertes uncompressed DV material was available. Then do I import the clips are quite normal in my Avid. Until recently, an error message when importing appeared: Exception: An error occurred while importing a QuickTime movie, encode: -50
Quick Time Movie? Huh?
What could be the reason? Conflicts with the latter QuickTime update?
BTW ... I have an older times gecapturetes material in the same format trying to import and to do it. I do not understand the world anymore.

So I am pretty sure that DV-Avi, because when I use the Movie Maker did so.
I have some older material that can easily import it. How could I use the old with the new compare?

Do you have the latest Quicktime updates installed? Maybe it's that.
Avid has just released Quicktime 7.1.3 (at least on
Mac, but I think this will be on the PC be the same). If you have something importierst at Avid QT plays a role and when the advance started, it might well be related.
One should always be at Avid s.die limits and not every update drüber iron (especially not when it comes of Apple ;-) - I had even on the Mac, a rollback of 10.4.9 to 10.4.8 make, because it's unreliable ran).
The fact that your cam is not recognized, however, I fnde quite odd - Generic should always work. From what version of Avid, we are talking about?

Hey, it could be really lie. Unfortunately I have now a very commonplace problem. Where can I get an earlier version? All downloads lead to apple site, or are defective. Can I get an older version uppen Quicktime?
