Import of 13 GB. Avi file in Premiere Pro / DV tape source

Hello All!
I have the following problem. I've ne SonyCam, with the DV tapes I've recorded. I have the tapes via Firewire with "Windows Movie Maker" on the hard drive captured. 13GB has such a tape in, for instance, with Windows Media Player, the videos are playing correctly.
When I think such a thing. Wants to import avi file, then comes the premiere of the dialog box to import short, but the bar does not move, it's really nothing more. I can do. Avi file does not easily import.
Have a similar tread found, but no problem. There was talk of what GSpot.
Have downloaded the program:
The following information in Gspot: Codec: dvsd, Name: DVC / DV Video
In the video window is on green, codec (s) are Installed. In the audio window is unknown codec? Could this be the problem?

ok. now have the file in gspot getest as described: If I at "Vid" click on 2, then it says:
"Failed to connect Output pin 0x0093389c (Scr Media") on filename.avi to output pin 0x0093363c ( "Stream") on filter 0x01f1d4 ....
and is still so ne ählihc the error message.
when I press the "Aud" 1 click, then there is "unable to render audio"
when I press on MS A / V to 1 it states:
render ok, the following combination of filters was used: and the filter ...
when I press on MS A / V button 2, then comes the video and play with visual and tone in the test window from ...
so what can you start?

how about it, sometimes the band scene in the premiere with switched recognition to read? First, you have small clips that can be easily bearbeitn and secondly, the underlying operating system (windows) is not busy the whole time with one-and outsourcing of Part of the main. The operation speed is too good.

well, I have a total of 7 bands, which I must capture. And of course that is then connected with time. I have the tapes in the movie maker with scene detection read.
well, I wanted to avoid that I once again capture 10 hours in the invest. And who says that if I pull it in the premiere that I can then process them. : (
just to despair.

There's Dv-AVI Type 1 + Type 2 The Movie Maker creates type1. PP but would like 2nd type ..

well, now I'm so nen dv-converter used, but already raised to the next problem. I was able to import the files while in pp, but the files (about 1 hour, 14 gb) had two times an approximately 15 minute hum inside (just noise).
Now maybe I'm not interested but more to cut videos, this is unbelievable how complicated that is ... : (

Instead, prefers to invest 20 hours in research and all sorts of tests? - New capture is often faster ... (own experience). At a pinch, about 60 minutes every night and get out of bed. ;-)

Without any malice, just an observation: is there a typical Windows problem. New capture, if one has 13 GB of DV on disk? Hmpff! Additional software? Man, am I glad.

This is precisely what we get the sought-workflow does not test capturet times by 10 minutes and further processed. Then would such problems as gecapturet DV Type 1, but requires DV Type 2 does not occur, the first place. ;-)

well, I have no cam. I had to then re-extra ne cam organize ... this was associated with effort, so I was anxious to eventually find another solution to ...
the capture time, there was not wirklcih the problem.

yes, you're right markus. I do that in the regular synonymous. 've worked with Premiere 6.5, I've never had nearly a problem, importing video files to all formats. I never thought that this would be at 7.0, a problem ....
