So speaks the part of me - price / performance with these features are a blast. The footage is made very nicely, you can see, what the D7000 is capable of. I wanted to replace my D70 anyway and system change for me coming out of the question - is because the D7000 is the right order (by the way!) To enter the world of DSLR filming. Cool thing, because I'll press time the pre-order button.

Automatic ISO level and very steep gamma curve - would I rather drown blackness in the mail, if necessary. It seems to me the cam to be limited imagewise something strong. But maybe next time, Nikon:)

More comes to mind is not one. Does no one gives of Canon now almost two years. And the sharpness in the Picture one looks in vain, unfortunately, I find artifacts, however massive. Juice-bar.

1920x1080 px only 24p - it comes as no loss of quality when you use this material in a 25p Project wants - without having to correct the over the term? - Because I use for example on the timeline synonymous "true" 25p material?
Or is it just the 720 25p mode better?
25p as an option in full HD, I would have been desired.

Judging from the test videos by, the real video camera never Resolutionder 1080P and 720P not be synonymous, but resembles extrapolated SD (as shown by s.verwaschenen details such as leaves and other fine structures). In YouTube's 1080p mode, the picture is very blurred. The bit rate of the codec is probably too small (17Mbit / s), which is zTsflächigen structure artifacts and image backgrounds shows. From and to see synonymous Color banding. Lens, this is probably the worst quality of all the moving video of the second generation of DSLRs.
So far, so good. However .... subjective, as in the case of D90, the colors so beautiful, alive and movie-like, as in other video DSLR None. Both Canon, Panasonic as synonymous (even with hack) provide relatively sterile HD video colors.

Where are the 17 Mbit / s read? Nowhere. Sorry, that was not sufficiently made my speculation, based on the specs of the D3100. I would be surprised - especially since the two sample videos - if that would include D7000 with a higher bit rate.

in the order of preference is no pretty, movies (24fps) are synonymous, "just so" on ne DVD (25fps), are thus a little shorter (eg 86.4 instead of 90 minutes), but the difference does not notice it. It will indeed be people who notice the slightly higher sound, but practically it does not matter if this is now 24fps in a 24er or a 25er timeline.
