I never imagined the 30days trial version of the current Premiere Pro and brought a bit rumexperimentiert. WMV has worked wonderfully. When I wanted to edit an AVI, I noticed that the music or the sound is running beautifully, but the picture includes the first minute only about 5th, which are spread over the whole sound (ie I have only once every few seconds New Picture). Using VLC I can play the AVI easily - just a normal sound, just a normal picture. Unfortunately, I do not know what could be the problem, so I ask for your help:) lg Pete

The file extension AVI is not a characteristic of a "standard" video file. The file extension AVI rather points to a container format that can have different types of content.
AVI is the most common of the DV camcorders dating "DV AVI". This can be with all popular editing applications are processed.

Hi! Thanks for the reply;) Did the AVI of an online TV Recorder .. So is 45 minutes long MTV .. If it helps, I noticed that almost the first "scene" is totally on it - so where does the video come since then the advertising .. As is so often on TV changed the display format "amongst others .. For the conversion, there is a tool called "super". I myself do not come so well with it, but other very well here and are very satisfied. So try just once.
