Hi,
CanonMiniDV have a camcorder and Pinnacle Studio 9 software, firewire card in a notebook with Syst. Windows XP. The first recording worked, then no more ...! In the preview, nothing is displayed (only) black surface, the camcorder runs, but nothing will be recorded. The Pinnacle support advised the 9.3.2 update - I've made - and stop all processes - I have been synonymous ... but still not works. What reasons can not have? What can I do to create FINALLY times a movie??
I would appreciate tips on huge me. Thank you!

Hello,
two possibilities come to me immediately to mind: Either the DV Interface of your camcorder broken (this is) notorious for Canon or is your operating system Windows XP with SP2 (this is notoriously Miniweich).
