Short film shoot with Panasonic HDC-SD300 which sound device?

hi, we are just about to shoot a short film and have a Panasonic HDC-SD300 cam. ton for the test we have to use our zoom h2 and are unfortunately not completely satisfied with the sound (sounds like some dull)
which external devices you could recommend us the best possible sound quality to achieve low budget?
are looking forward to tips ...

So a question we really can not answer with a few words, as good sound is a very complex subject in film.
