Infoseite // Verständnisfrage sequence set in Premiere Pro CS4

Frage von zwiebel_sondermann:

Hi All,

I wanted to even know how your workflow looks and handling with the sequence specifications. Have the following problem:

My source material is almost exclusively of a 16:9 interlaced 720x576 MPG SonyHDR-XR500, a sequence preset, I have always taken DV PAL Widescreen.

In my sequence, I add up right in the corner always a small logo as a PNG (but synonymous PSD, EPS etc. tried) a.

The output will be progressively later (only for video screen, no TV then), I have taken as the standard export MPEG2 PAL DV high quality and then progressively and widescreen selected.

The exported video logo now looks extremely schei ** e from the edge, for example, a "o" are not so beautiful but we see some podium.

I then asked once a trial basis in the sequence default to "no fields" and that the export does better.

So my question is, should we adjust the target sequence, the input material or the output?

Antwort von RickyMartini:

Progressive export a field seems to be ignored, so this step structure arises. For interlaced which is not visible.
Stay easy for interlaced - progressive teaches you an i-source no benefits. Without good de-interlacer is nothing anyway.
Since the filter put in the player software and the TV much more.
