Infoseite // Videos for the Web / mpeg-2 to flash

Frage von farbpixel:

Hi,

I would like flash videos in a web search and include the fastest and best quality way to do this :-)

Base:
As a camera, I have a Panasonic SDR-S150. The choice of a lot on this cam, because it pretty much the smallest and lightest is that I could find.

The SDR-S150 delivers me. Mod files. These files are mpeg-2. I can MPEG_Streamclip and with the QuickTimeMPEG2 plugin for the Mac to read it. As far as I am sometimes. But I'm holding not sure what order and what settings when you convert the best. It come as some very different results out ... whole rather not so good.

Or is there another video editing software, with one of the mpeg-2 can directly import?

Then I wonder, as I proceed next .... Video editing with iMovie HD? Or would you prefer to buy Final Cut? Or something else? And how can I get the edited video as a Flash video output?

Sorry for the many questions, but I'm an absolute novice in the field of video and the many acronyms and terms are rather confusing.

I'm looking for a reasonable workflow and do not want to try all Programs ... must

I have here in this great forum synonymous already searched and read much, but it affects only part of my problem. I hope at least that I can help someone here ...

Greeting
Harald

I answer my own time ..

I can now look at the videos of the SDR-S150 easily import directly. This one needs only the new version of iMovie 08 and the MPEG-2-plugin for Quicktime. Then simply connect the camera and all the clips are there. I'm excited :-)

The next steps to follow ...
