After the DaVinci Resolve Update 14.1, which was released only 10 days ago, Blackmagic has now added version 220.127.116.11. This was necessary due to a number of bugs that had crept in during the 14.1 update. Among other things, there were problems using Blackmagic desktop video hardware with Resolve; monitoring using PsF formats; detecting license dongels on MacBook Pro with touch bar and high sierra - also fixed are crashes caused by changing audio plug-ins and project reload without saving or by opening a project with title presets in the media pool. The new update will also improve overall stability and performance.
The new features of Resolve 14.1 include: videoscopes; presets for user preferences; support for GoPro&s CineForm codec as caching and optimized media format; improved text rendering; the new ability to drag DaVinciResolve. drp files directly into the project manager and to enable/disable caching of transitions and composites in user mode in the project settings; improved playback.
The Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Update 14.1.1 (Studio) is now available for free download - the list of all changes can be found at here.
