DZOfilm Vespid Cine Lens Series
The series has a uniform design -- all optics have a length of 100mm and a diameter of 80mm (filter diameter 77mm), only the weight differs. The wide-angle 25mm weighs the most with 940g, followed by the 125mm with 924g, while the standard focal length 50mm weighs 732g.
With the 90mm macro, the minimum focus distance is 25.8cm (no indication of the magnification), with the other lenses it is between 0.3m (wide angle) and 0.79m (telephoto). The focus distance is 270° everywhere, the rotation angle at the aperture varies between 58° and 84°. The aperture consists of 16 blades. The gear rims correspond to the 0.8Mod standard.
According to Newsshooter the lenses are supposed to cost 1249 dollars each and will be available from the end of November, except the macro for 1499 dollars (from December).
In July DZOfilm had already introduced the price-wise very competitive Pictor S35 zoom lenses.
