NiSi is working on another series of manual full-frame cine lenses aimed at use with non-reflective cameras. There will be four fixed focal lengths, 35mm, 55, 75mm and 100mm, all of which will be very bright with T1.1. First the Sony E-Mount will be used, whether the optics will also be available for other connection standards with similarly small flange sizes like Canon R, Nikon Z and Panasonic/Leica L, has not yet been decided.
On the Photokina the manufacturer shows a first prototype of the 75mm Primes. The lenses should be ready for the market with gear rings as well as other cine-typical features such as an unclicked aperture. It remains to be seen whether it will still be so far in 2019, even a price conception could not be elicited.
NiSi first introduced the Fullframe Prime Series F3 for PL, Canon EF and Sony E at the NAB.
