Infoseite // Camera is SonyZ1 of Final Cut Pro nict detected

Frage von Werny:

I have a G5 and the SonyZ1.
Now I must cut my material filmed and Final Cut Pro 5.1 does not find my camera, error message.
"Unable to initialize video deck ..." (I work with the English version, since I work in UAE.)
Interesting is the iMovie recognizes my camera and so I could cut.
Where is the problem?

Thanks for any reply!

iMovie keeps a drill for a camcorder, if it resembles. This means nothing.
So off possibilities:
? Preferences check. Capture via Firewire DV / HDV, controllable device?
? The FX1 hangs on sometimes, very happy when capturing, preferably at iConvert of capturing HDV> DV. A work around is a small reset button underneath the display. The cams are so similar. Note: The reset disable custom presets, but just for now.
