Infoseite // Final Cut Pro capture

Frage von mac11:

Hello,
how can I get final cut in a DV tape capture, so that the individual clips separately and as urlaub1, urlaub2, urlaub3 ... be nominated?
for batch capture so you can be always in and out points within the contact clips. in "direct", while the entire tape captured but the clips are not separated.

thank you very much

Hello,
I have unfortunately just not in front of me, but "mark" there is a point (the third of the bottom or so), you if you complete the tape (with "right") have captured in each scene is a marker. Afterwards you can then (with apple + u) from the markers Subclips create.
Synonymous, I have just recently discovered, quite ingenious. I could simply not imagine that Final Cut Pro has no scene detection:)

Thank you! works great.

but still wonder if I directly capture and localized on the tape is where there is no time code, so I have looked at the camera viewed a clip and then next up, cut off the final cut receptive. how can I adjust that Final Cut Pro, just about the time code free agency next play and then next record?

Antwort von vdp1331:

I do not think that all about, because even in one file / one clip a "time code" would be duplicated (if I understand you correctly now). And the recording after the demolition manual must be restarted, but I may be wrong synonymous, as I said, unfortunately, did not grad-look the possibility of maybe someone else knows better.

Yet. In the Capture window, off the Device Control. So "non-controllable device." Then the recorder and start directly in Final Cut Pro for direct recording button. Afaik he then creates a new, separate time code.

I think you need to be somewhat forward of hand and lose a few seconds. Try holding out. In the future, the tape has not removed or coils.
The Subclip method, I prefer to have always been an "Automatic scene separation" before.

@ vdp1331:

That would interest me very much. Can you tell me what point exactly is the marking?
Will the only DV or synonymous with breakout box like the AJA IO?

Is it really possible during the recording (no preference whether direct, clip or stack) in Final Cut Pro to put a marker?

That I find a per-program is not awesome but pretty skinny! Have you ever created the 150 Subclips then all "xx Subclip of Master Name" hot and I do not even make sense by Batch rename it?

I always capture my tapes outside Final Cut Pro with a reasonable catalog program and then import the Batchlist.

Even more. Do we first stated: There is the start-stop automatic detection and separation in Subclips in Final Cut Pro. I can understand the material synonymous sequence as the capture and longer clips before the start-stop analysis unequivocally designate. I can even if I had all the tapes gecapturet, roughly divided into clearly identified Subclips divide and then just continued in sub-Subclips separated. I could even rename batches of Subclips simply by Automator can do. What is missing its "pros"?

Uh, with "Pro" I thought the program, not me ;-)

What is missing? Quite simply a batch Rename function: If I Mastersequenz1 in 20 Subclips split, I would perhaps London Shot # 1 "," London-Shot # 2 "call and not" x Subclip of Mastersequenz1 ". The entire course in a Aufwasch and not 20 times of hand.

Such a clip list is 1,000 times easier and saves me much time for the Grobschnitt.

But it lead you know many ways to Rome and to the optimum workflow ;-)
