I have some time before me, in order for lack of memory, all movies (mpg, and about 800MB big) on dvd burned about 5 pieces match up then. Now I have bought yesterday a sony cd / dvd player. I've done a dvd into my drive the "no-tone and picture file is displayed. dvds with avi, but running smoothly. I have to do to my mpg files on the dvd to make visible in the dvd player too. I was able to help in the forum or elsewhere in the internet is not available concerning my problems. sorry am just a bond. Thank you in advance for quick help!

Unfortunately, you'd have to convert the MPG files again. Either is likely to AVI files with DivX compression or regular video DVDs.
With AVI files reinlaufen you can during the next DVD player into the same problem. AVI files to DVD player is an extra feature and not a mandatory standard equipment by the DVD standard manufactures (at most) by the market.
DVD-Video discs do you do with a DVD drive ring program, possibly combined with an MPEG2 encoder. DVD Auto Ring of programs are available lau (Freeware DVDAuthorGUI, IfoEdit Muxman) .. over priced (Magix., Nero ..., Ulead MovieFactory, DVDLab, TMPEG DVD Author) to pro. MPEG2 encoder synonymous.
