Hi,
the whole development is HDV s.mir trace passed (Europe live in Africa - there are in many places, not even electricity).
Where can I find the times-a-depth overview of the various formats and standards for HDV?
Send Standart / Production and Distribution format etc?
Have here in the forum already and found a lot of hope for more ...
Thanks, Marc

Uff, have now read everything and get an overview. That with the sound quality I find quite a pity that it seems to me a step in the wrong direction.
It is not clear to me the recording in the MPEG method.
Is this the data on an I-frame only GOP possible, or there are unpleasant surprises in the cut? ^
Thanks for answers, Marc

In the usual devices, the GOP definite structure, and of you as a user can not be changed.
You're right, s.Anfang has a GOP structure synonymous with the cutting problems - but now largely been overcome. From a 2-core processor and with the appropriate cutting programs is the HDV editing is no big deal anymore. With 4-nuclear devices, the case even with relatively large reserves.
