Hi,
the following theme: we want a movie mode in the film Steadycam - Camera Canon XH A1 and Glidecam X-10 4000.
Since the lighting conditions s.Drehort are rather moderate, we are looking for a halfway reasonable head light.
A wiring of the light head to an external battery for example. s.Gürtel is not feasible, since the camera will no longer error-free could navigate.
Thus, we would either head light with integral Battery and Battery with a need, which is also above s.Griff camera can be attached .... to a luminosity of the above 10W is a color that does not remind s.Scream Part 25 .... hmmm ...
quasi ne panther romylight 75 - but not with 12V ..

The Steadycam is extremely easy and efficient storage and can easily be rotated with two fingers - the cable must be somewhere on the camera end of the arm on which they are placed and then the belt - and s.der body, I see the problem: camera end - Arm - so here I must Cables much flexibility that the steady problems without severely rotated, and I think this cable protruding inhibits Rotate the steady ....

I will, however, like using experiences of other people before I inform 200th - Euro für ne lamp on the table and then do note that they use for my purpose nothing appears.

So I have somewhere in the forum already read something about the power of the Camera-Battery operated - this must be the camera battery by another system, s.das other devices can be replaced - very big disadvantage: the flap of the battery compartment must remain open continuously, which zwangsgedrungen sometime to cancel the flap leads .....

What of it as Anton Bauer for the XH-A1, is the ElipZ system. At the Battery, under the Camera can be mounted, one can find the camera (via a similar adapter to the AC adapter from the original camera accessories) and a head light connected - but only with 7.6 (?) Volts. The battery compartment door can be closed (by the cable is small, with a rubber sealed gap led part). Then, lacking only a head light with enough power - to the system, there is one, but it has only 10 watts.

If your Steadicam 2kg or more, you can cope with but just a lead and take him s.der Camera fix (eg with Gaffa on the handle). Then you can with your 12v Romy continue to work ...

I would not take LED system! Were a few months ago a detailed report about the LED lights and none of the tested models was convincing.

LED is generally regarded as energy-saving light output with good known but rather as a cold light described ...
