Frage von TimSalabim:Hi have the following problem, camcorders have made before about 5 years in Australia shooting DV with a Canon DV NTSC however.
Now I wanted with a PAL DV Camcorders (NTSC camcorder was borrowed and is sold) take up the tapes over to the Fire Wire Digital Calculator.
I thought since it is digital data is and can handle the PC so that would be no problem. But unfortunately the video is grainy and error. Gibts da somehow a way to be incorporated into the camcorder is NTSC or PAL only with nem?
Please help

As far as I know, can play most of the PAL-NTSC-DV camcorder Of Sonysynonymous.
Antwort von Goohn:
hmm then I suppose that is with my Canon MV700 which I borrowed not work :-(
Does it work with all newer models of Sony? Or s.welches Model
Antwort von beiti:
I can not say unfortunately. My uncle has an approximately 5 years old Sony DV, which is concerned with, according to instructions. I myself have) only two canons (and in any case no NTSC tape to try.
Why did you ever filmed in Australia in NTSC?
Antwort von TimSalabim:
Hmm I ask myself constantly synonymous * g * So my cousin has visited during the time in grad Amiland a flight school and has been there at that time bought a Canon DV because they allegedly were cheap and because I knew no one so far me borrow a mini DV could I have borrowed the cam of my cousin, because I really wanted to take my leave, finally, not so often you come to Australia.
I searched the forum here once and I found the following:
Quote: "
It seems that the Sony cameras is no preference which format has the tape.
The following models play PAL and NTSC tapes from:
DCR-HC20 NTSC Camera
DCR-HC17 PAL Camera
TRV12, 14.22 all PAL Cameras
The TRV33 can even change the menu
Panasonic NTSC cameras from not playing against PAL.
Logically, always with DV-out, s.TV is just that what's behind the TV.
All cameras are tested, so nix read somewhere or heard. " May perhaps confirm nochjemand??
Antwort von hannes:
> Can someone confirm that maybe??
Yes, and indeed for the TRV-900.
Plays NTSC cleanly as such. Not PAL60 or the like.
ScLive detects NTSC synonymous when it starts on the current camcorder. AVCutty well. Canopus Programs can adjust before.
The conversion to PAL is my opinion any good editing program.

The conversion to PAL is my opinion any good editing program. But quality is not recommend with any program.
Everyone can play almost any DVD Players and synonymous NTSC television, I would simply create a DVD in NTSC.
Antwort von Jan:
The Sony's of the last 2 years Yes, for Canon / Panasonic / JVC Consumer no, I had a few months ago with HC 90 Japanese NTSC tape went like clockwork. The 2005 Canon / JVC / Panasonic did not. Canon MV 350i / 800 did not accept the tape, then probably not synonymous, the old 700s.
Is synonymous of Sonybestätigt, since when exactly but I do not know.

Antwort von TimSalabim:
funny at the SonyPage if one looked at the model HC 90 looks at technical specifications, it says: Play in NTSC format on PAL Television = No
And these: TRV12, 14,22,33 YES
So one can hardly go to those specified?
Antwort von beiti:
"Playback on PAL Television" means PAL60. The synonymous works on most pure PAL TVs. However, it can not receive a signal - either with PAL or NTSC with recorders. It really is good only for immediate playback.
If there "no" is, indicates that on a real NTSC playback. For this purpose, the television must be explicitly supporting NTSC, otherwise it displays mishmash.
I doubt that this equipment detail for the DV output via Firewire is relevant. I think that as more and abuts a standards-compliant NTSC DV. The distinction between PAL60 and NTSC certainly applies only to the analog output. Digital should not even be distinguishable. There are indeed synonymous no difference between PAL and SECAM.
Antwort von Jan:
There were no problems with the HC 90 and the Japanese NTSC tape. I and the Japanese had transferred via Firewire, synonymous sound was good, no problem. The generated PAL DVD was ok.
It was a promotional film for a snowboard winter trade show to be shown on LCD with me around the corner, I think the claims were not quite low, although only a mini DV tape was used.

So this morning I got my SonyDCR-TRV14E, had the same time brought my NTSC tape and lo and behold, I could play it and the monitor showed the picture of Cam s.der properly.
Thereafter, the same Cam s.den PC and connected with AV Cutty captured, everything works fine.
So the the intressiert: the s.Alle-TRV14E clearly plays NTSC tapes from.

I s.das Sony Customer Information Center changed.
My request:
Hello,
was filmed on holiday with a JVC mini DV GR-Dxxx from the series.
This has included in the NTSC format.
D and I want to live in a PAL mini-DV camcorder to purchase, which can play NTSC tapes.
I read on the Internet that the new Sony mini-DV generation is able to do so.
Answer:
With our devices, you can only play PAL tapes. Another possibility exists.

I got my tapes with avcutty in NTSC format with firewire on the computer.
In other programs, it has not worked.
On my old Sony TV, I could watch the tapes synonymous.
