I am looking for an MPEG-2 editing program with which you can frame accurate cut.
Mpeg2Schnitt example, can only cut sI-or P-frames and thus not frame accurate

But I would prefer of course, an editing of the program can start frame-accurate cut.

Mpeg2Schnitt example, can only cut sI-or P-frames and thus not frame accurate This is soch with MPEG-2 is not just its design? You just can only cut s.den full frames, because just imagine Just imagine that you cut off an I-frame, then you see only the changes, but not the whole picture.
So you have to transcode to cut (so I'll do it in any case always). This is not really nice, because you obviously lose quality (when reconvert into MPEG-2), however different it is just not AFAIK.

Ulead MediaStudio Pro 7 can be synonymous without rendering.
Without words, the untreated part is not rendered. At the interfaces that are in a GOP is already rendered. Edius always re-renders.
