In the old version I have every single clip on the "progressive / interlace no automatic processing" switch, and even then still picture errors occur in the transition of cross-visors on Smart Encoding on.
Also worked the Smart Enconding totally unreliable!
Often just a single scene (in the same video format) to add a movie so that the previously clean smart-rendering was then completely neugerendert is - synonymous the old scenes!
If Smart-encoding would work reliably, and the more individual files would be tolerated, it would be wonderful.
The current version is simply unusable for HDV!

Yes it works myself a Canon HV20 and have recently been using video deluxe 2008 and it works great! No problems. I'm surprised.
