Why I can not recommend this route, you have to "1. (c) Why do not capture using graphics card, TV card or video grabbers?" in my post linked above probably already looked up. As you may invest a lot of time in poor quality.

Perhaps logs still someone else?

YES that it is very difficult, unfortunately I have already noticed. It's not like I have no firewire port and buy a FireWire cable, no problem would be synonymous. In your description is this: You will need approximately 13 GB of space per hour videotape. Once you have the 13 GB on the PC, how can you compress the video, s.besten without great loss of quality, so you can burn approximately 90 minutes on a DVD?

Antwort von Markus:

At the end of the video editing you export your movie from the timeline in the MPEG2 format. This format You will need to create a DVD video. Thus synonymous 90 minutes to fit on a disc, which leads, depending on the encoder and video material more or less visible quality loss.

About the Firewire connection, the picture-and sound data to get the same calculator. If you have a sound with your camcorder recorded, it is synonymous to the dubbing of the data exist on the calculator.

But who you should in the distance, and without knowing your Calculator to guarantee? You have connected speakers s.PC (synonymous to listen to the sound)? ;-)

Have infected me now bought a FireWire cable, has been synonymous immediately recognized the camcorder. I would like to halt ne good picture quality from the sound can be quiet 192nd But that is exactly my question.

Until now I have to admit PowerDirector to put in DVD quality for which he has recorded 90 minutes, I've seen 5.2 GB, so I had with Video Studio 2006, the compressed file as SVCD and then I went to Nero to create DVD And then I burned the file, but Nero has indeed improved danna uch again.

I would love to step in with the collapse SCVD can be. But then I'd need a program where I can record in DVD quali, but he could synonymous Set the TON in 192 starts, because he indeed takes the sound to normal. Programs that are there to make it? And it is possible to stop it happening just off the recording, because I would not like to separate tonspur and visual trace, because I am not at synonymous know how that goes.

An absolute Beginners the synonymous and I'm making for my dad, so thank you and please help me.

If you are in DV AVI format are capturing (unchanged from the tape, 13 GB / hr.), Then editierst the recordings until the end and reconversion to MPEG2, then allows your calculator to take the time he needs it. And you can move the data rate (synonymous for audio) so calculated that just your film to a DVD with 4.3 GB
You read the other hand, directly into MPEG2, then it must (the calculator for the speed that is given by the box office operation) may make concessions on quality.

Hehe, so I did it so I solved the first one V Avi had received just under 19 GB, then went to Nero to create the file on DVD and there were then inserted 3.52 Gb what he indicated to me joa dnan he has himself to mpeg2 converted and burned and quality on the DVD player is great.

Does anybody know how many minutes I might add in DV AVI, it can still fit on a 4.7GB DVD? Have still a little space now. Did indeed suffer rnicht Casettes only 90 minutes but 60 minutes synonymous aksseten, Pass 2 60min Video Library, when I first receive them into the synonymous again, the dv avi and then with nero on a dvd wiede rso Amchem or 120 minutes too much?

While stable at Digital Video and DV-AVI files, the data rate of about 3.5 Mb / s, one can freely choose the data rate for DVD-Video, within certain limits.

The smaller the data rate is, the worse the picture-and sound quality. In the best case (maximum possible data rate), about one hours fit video to a DVD-5, with the lowest standards of quality even up to eight (8) hours. In the latter case, but you are far away of what one would typically describe as DVD quality. ;-)

Up to 120 minutes per DVD-5 are not a problem, but to compress the material should not be noisy.
