someone already has practical experience with an 8GB card in the SD1 done?
80min continuous recording is probably not, I have read here in the forum ... :-(
But what if I only many individual scenes would like to save?

Have just successfully completed a card with 8GB SDHC Class 6 of Transcend in my Panasonic HDC-SD1 tested.
Works flawlessly (83min video in best quality HD).
Continuous Recording, I have not tested (I do not).

I have "only" 4GB cards in use.
See the moment the meaning of a 8GB card is not:
2x4GB cost a few francs (or euros) more than 8GB.
If a fault occurs a map, is the loss (Vide-material and material) is not so big!
