Now I have the Procoder praised so often, for the encoding of small videos, it's not a problem if something fails, at long video then it is still very annoying, since one needs to go through it again and again.
There are always times again fractals (green, red, blue pixels) on, sometimes small red dots, or black bars in writing transitions.
Unfortunately, we are already prepared to sift exported videos over and over again and that costs us a lot of time - we do not always have.
Current example:
2 videos with each about 13 minutes duration, played with Adobe Premiere (DV-AVI) -> then import into Edius and spotted on the TV.
Result:
no significant visible errors.
These 2 DV-AVI 's then with the Procoder encoded in MPEG2 (Mastering Quality, Constant bitrate 7800).
That some DVD players with such a high bit rate problems I know, I should perhaps reduce this to 7000 to avoid problems synonymous with good players?
Now my question:
I would like to avoid such blunders in the future, there will a lot of DVD's whistle, a lot of time and nerves. I need a secure system that produces no noticeable errors. How is that to realize s.besten? Driver error? Application Error? Am grateful for all tips.
Systems used:
1. AMD Dual Opteron (Tyan board), 2GB Ram, GF5900FX, Canopus Procoder 2.0, Canopus DV Storm 2.0
2. AMD64 3200 + (MSI board NF3), 2GB Ram, GF5900FX, Procoder 2.0, Canopus DV Storm.

I do not want to paint the devil s.The wall but what I've heard of, I saw Procoder / was OK, but
so do a check once, 2GB of RAM if your still working properly or whether the system is maybe a little too warm.
When overclocking of graphics cards will be in the range of pixels to write without errors crash Gesmtsystems (heat and speed lead to erroneous reading). Something similar could be synonymous here the case.
So if you do not overclock YOU have to hire a heat problem or defect in the system.

Yes, no offense Mr. Manges, I was probably too hasty and apologize herewith. Your support has helped a lot, and now the films are shown without any errors. I just hope that it is synonymous with the following projects, works so smoothly. The proposed configuration as VBR with the extra check mark for GOP, but now has significantly helped. Thx!

I used the following settings:
DV AVI as the starting material to MPEG2 DVD Mastering
Stream Type: Elementary Stream
Video standard: Pal 720x576, etc.
Quality / Speed: Mastering
Bitrate Type: Variable
Number of Passes: 2Pass
Variable bit rate (ne) for better DVDPlayer: 6000 (min) -9300 (max)
(for allzweck DVD Player): 5000-7500
Advanced Settings:
Create DVD compatible (check mark) set
Use closed GoP (check mark) set
This setting does only what similar scenes in movies.
It seems as if one for each new project a new preset
could create. (If errors occur)

Perhaps put a bit complicated, I mean scenes that represent different processes hectic. Times very quiet pictures and then again very hectic. I think this jetzoge setting is a very good preset for everything. I will next test.
