I want to with my Canon XH A1 will soon produce a video based on a standard DVD in 16:9 format (no HDTV) will be published. How can I better utilize Optimal Resolution, synonymous when I just a "normal" DVD would like to produce. On the Canon, I have the Choice HD, SD16: 9 and SD4: 3 I do believe times that I have on HD adjustment. I place the frame rate of 50i or 25F? What settings do I do when off (AV-DV s.oder from? HD down conv. S.oder from)? And what preset I use with Premiere Pro2?

Thanks in advance If you are with the "F" mode clearly come, you get the best image quality with the following, very simple workflow:
In 25 F HDV recording as HDV capture and edit (as 1080p25). Exporting as Mpeg 2 for DVD, anamorphic (a deinterlacing in this mode is not necessary).
Not in DV record.
No Downkonvert on Camera (Canon does not do well).
No intermediate in DV, HDV, immediately of> Mpeg2 PAL.
