Infoseite // SonyHDR-FX7 and ME 66 - drive noise

Frage von Trixi200:

Hi, I own the HDR FX7 and the Sennheiser ME66. Unfortunately, the Microphone, the drive noise on the camera. Can you do anything except on the other hand, the noise afterwards (as much as possible) with software to remove?

Antwort von Markus:

Do you already have a spider in use or register the Microphone sound body of the camcorder?

Antwort von thekloi:

Meanwhile, I have noticed that the noise only occurs when I have just movies if I do not movies, I hear the "Noise" is not.
The noise, or rather a higher quieter sound, and is therefore only when the REC button is enabled. I have some other synonymous mini jack cable s.meine Camera infected and on the other, I have nothing connected and if I as the Rec button to activate it as well.

That sounds almost after a problem with the audio signal processing at. Or were very exotic in front of reception conditions and the observed error is usually tend not to?

Antwort von thekloi:

No, this was quite normal recording conditions before and the problem occurs in each mini-jack cable to.

Antwort von Markus:

How long were the cables tested and what quality would you ascribe to them?

Antwort von thekloi:

That with the Me66 is 1.5 m (purchased at http://www.thomann.de/de/cae_20035_kamerakabel.htm)
The other is 5m and another one with 20 cm.
If the micro is off, I hear only the noise of the little mini-jack, as soon as I turn on the micro, the noise a bit too. Is this normal, because it is the only Me66 has low self noise. Or would it be better if I with an audio recorder in the future would take, or there are other options on the camera, to improve the sound with as little noise as possible?

This length should be no problem. At 5m, it is not so great, depending on the environment and atmospheric conditions.

The ME66 has a very high output levels. Perhaps this is what the camcorder does not cope so well and the existing noise in quiet passages is thus even stronger than it displayed in an automatic audio control would be the case anyway?

There is in principle the possibility of using a previously synchronized timecode Picture and sound recordings to bring together car, but consumer camcorder support such a thing and not the H4 I know not synonymous. Ergo, it would tantamount to handwork, which averaged 80 - 400 scenes per hour original tape should be no pleasure.

Since the cause of the noise has not yet been clearly identified, I can not estimate to what extent an XLR adapter (with connectable input attenuation) would eliminate the problem. For longer cables is such an electronic XLR Adapters, the symmetry of the Microphone maintains, but in all cases make sense.

Should I look at a spider up, so that the zoom noise, etc. be suppressed as the 86th Beyerdynamic EA

Antwort von Markus:

One attempt, it might be worth. But do not expect that the absolute Zoomgeräusch completely disappears. Because synonymous a good directional microphone camcorder can not totally ignore the noise when it sits directly on same.

Antwort von Fantomas:

Hello,
I have now the Microfilm of my camcorder and put about 50cm away and the noise was very low, ie, you have the noise but with a spider can remove.
Now I have only the problem with the buzz in the recording. I would like to know if this hum is normal, or that you could somehow suppress. I was just following test: I have the mini jack cable only half plugged in, so I know nothing more of Microphone could hear, however, but the mini-jack connection just so enabled, then I started recording and the buzz was back since, but would have to say that there are definitely s.Kabel or s.dem Microphone can not lie.
I have now only know whether this is normal hum or do it through the exchange of the external input fix it.

Has any idea whether the hum (only during recording) in SonyHDR-FX7 is normal or whether the microphone input of a Camera Deffekt available.
