Hello!
For a sports event next week, I vacillate between a Steadicam or handheld stabilizer.
The camera is a Canon XH-A1, the weight below 1.5 kilograms - 2nd
What is the more reasonable system?
Tips? Experiences?

Scant information. The weight of the A1, you'd have expected at least twice during a "steadicam". Without holding arm and vest as to just minutes. By the "handheld" Do you mean something like the "FigRig"? That would take slightly longer. One would wish to have a shoulder mounted camcorder. The A1 is unfortunately not the first choice for: viewfinder in the back of display micktig. The solution is monopod, with which we can draw, but has a sort of synonymous Steady Stick.

Have no Glidecam with arm rest? That would be what kind of film for half an hour. The part is pressing you hold onto the joint, but if you're going to gamchtes never with such a weight, hold 2.5 to 3 times kilos over your wrist 30 minutes. This costs forces.
Add to your Camgewicht ja noch a counterweight to and stabilize the weight of the steadies, all you need on your hand. I work with such a system with 2 kilos and still going quite well, synonymous over 30 minutes but 3 pounds is not something completely different.

A suspension system for a camera to film everything at a sports event inappropriate because they have to zoom in a little time in between synonymous. It does not work properly with a Steadicam.
As Axel has already written: a monopod like the Manfrotto 162B is optimal. Order it on Amazon.co.uk. Since it is the s.billigsten and deliver quickly.

But maybe he has to go through the grandstand or other, and not just the game itself can only say the thread creator. Such information would be also important in such matters, I'm always assume if someone wants a Steadier that he has synonymous prior to film in the running. Where you can follow, of course, synonymous with the steadies still quite decent, but does provide a goal it's almost sure not synonymous.

I rumzuliegen one FullRig and monopod, and it might let you, I need it as it appears in the next two weeks anyway not right.
Do not forget, however, needs sowas time to rest and a lot of exercise.
So a monopod should already be there.

what type of sporting event you because film? (In which environment; stand, sidelines,) between two people? Over what period?
As someone already said, can you a full-rig on a platform probably forgot ... would be helpful if you give more info ...
