Hi Folks,
my problem is as follows:
I've been trying for a while with my notebook to a VHS digitize (capture).
On my notebook (Gericom Blockbuster Excellent 7000) a
video - In interface (7 pol.mini.DIN)
I connected the recorder folgendermßen:
Audio (RCA (red / white recorder) - Jack (notebook))
Video (RCA (vga-yellow) - 7.pol.mini DIN (Video - In notebook))
Software (Sony Vegas 6.0 and VirtualDub)
But I just do not get the VHS signal into the notebook, or on the screen.
Can someone help me because,
It is even possible (actually, already, is nevertheless Video - In)?
Do I need special software to receive the signal?
Special connection or configuration?

I have a Cebop Top 9600, based as your Gericom notebooks and other eg. (some Amilo models) on the same chassis.
Even with me is a video-installed in - connection (rear right), but no function, because the graphics card does not support.
Possibly the same case with you?

And I always thought would be the outputs? yes, the output is yellow (Hosiden) and right rear. The dummy input is black and the rear right (I hope the difference is between the right rear and right rear understandable :-))
With some built-up graphics cards, the black is on record as input, simple in others only in there so that the case has no hole. Got it?
