That depends on how the Panasonic adapter is connected with the camcorder. The find out and then see if the VX2100 has a corresponding port for that.

Looks suspiciously like XLR adapter Pana AG-30 G MYA. - I think - you can buy it for the optional AG DVC 30 and assembled there. But he will probably be significantly more expensive than an inexpensive XLR adapter for about 200 ¬.

All I'm saying if you do not want fish, ranging Sennheiser MKE 300 (small jack) out completely, which I used with the VX 2000 and recently hawked on ebay for 70 Kracher.
