compression optimized for beamer projection adobe premiere pro 1.5

Hello,
I am looking for the best codec / compression settings for my movies, so that then means beamer to approximately 7x5 m can be projected.
I know this is a recording of minidv better.
My client, however, prefer a playlist of dvd before.
it makes sense to copy the movies to avi via computer to avoid einleseruckeln Of Low Scan speed on dvd?
or
in mpg compression setting determines should be elected?

DVD video or data DVD?
The DVD-Video are the targets were so clear (discussed here numerous times and ussynonymous available in Wikipedia) and the data DVD you can basically take any format that may reflect the projection machine.

AVI I s.dieser would take place but not necessarily, but rather a common compression format.
