Hi All,
I am currently looking for a power adapter for my JVC GY-DV5000. But now I have found another old Sony power supply in my home, which takes 14.6 V at 0.6 A. Can I use for my Cam? In the operating manual of the Cam-12V DC-IN but the stands are so synonymous Batteries 14.6 V

The power supply provides 14.6V x 0.6A = 8.76 watts
... not even 10 watts .... I believe to be significantly undersized.
Would I do take for nen Shoulder Camcorder with tape drive at least 50-60 watts.

So, about half of 50-60W is already more realistic.
The exact performance of the camera usually stands. s.der camera itself on the plate beside the serial number and the type designation.

Now I know that my cam need 1.5A at 12V, that is 18 watts.
Then the 30-watt power supply should work, yes.
Then I must still hold a 4-pin XLR Male mounted on it.

Yes, the XLR 4pin has yet to be soldered.
Occupancy:
Pin 1 = Ground (;-)
(Pin 4 = DC; +)
Pin 2 and Pin 3 remain unassigned.
