I ask your advice
And although we would like to add a little amateur music video of one of our songs. Should be a funky video, and we are certainly not "pro-Picture quality-fetishist" - so far, I have even taken with my digicam Canon Digital Ixus 50 video - and even that was acceptable.
Jetz has so ne digicam, however, very limited space (video max. 1GIG) and I'm wondering zuzulegen nen cheap camcorder.
Can you recommend me there a camcorder in the same price class? Gibts ja at Media Markt different models for around 250 euros

Turning briefly to my requirements:
- Is rarely used for home-video recordings, image quality need not be great - to be used in our case, for indoor and outdoor, in a dark atmosphere synonymous

I honestly of HDV and DV never heard, only know the typical video formats MPEG, AVI, Quicktime and the like.
Am I correct that I did install the appropriate codecs for HDV / DV needs and the recorded material then for example on the PC in Virtualdub record a "can of the camera?
So I imagine the degree as follows:
- I connect the camera with my firewire port
- Copy the data via Windows Explorer on my plate (DV and HDV are "AVI Files"?)
- I install the corresponding DV and HDV codecs
- Start Virtualdub
- Open the Camera in Virtualdub of the copied files
- Can the video then as x any video format to export out Virtualdub.

Were what? That depends on whether you have a way to edit HDV. Unlike DV is this that is not all current PC in the default location.
I honestly of HDV and DV never heard, only know the typical video formats MPEG, AVI, Quicktime and the like. DV and HDV video formats are as MPEG, AVI and QuickTime file formats.
DV (standard definition) corresponds to an AVI, which was created with a DV codec. This is the case when the recordings (data) of a DV camcorder via firewire copied to the PC. Then synonymous speaks of a DV-AVI.

HDV (high definition) MPEG-2 compressed and is stored in m2t format. A transfer via firewire is only possible if the PC in question has the necessary drivers. Drivers without a transfer is only possible if the camcorder to DV playback is made so that the scaled down HDV recording with DV are Resolutionausgegeben.
So I imagine the degree as follows:
