Canon XH-A1 Low Light Tips

Frage von Daniel007:
Februar 2011

Good morning together,

what you can send me other basic low light shooting with the Canon XH-A1s say?

My ideas:

Shutter Speed: 1 / 50. Is as good as the standard-setting. Increasing but at 1 / 25 the picture has been slightly choppy.

ND Filter: Off

Aperture: Wide open. However, probably not quite synonymous to, because then lost something synonymous s.Bildqualität is, as I have read.

Gain:-3dB? Wolfgang said yes, that he used this to 99% by the sunset.
At +6 db Wolfgang writes:
Quote:
Only the Picture by the automatic white balance is set more neutral and much sharper.

So if I should take +6 db to get brighter, then synonymous automatic White Balance?

White Balance: "K" (?)

Please correct if I'm wrong.

Regards,
Daniel

First of all, you can set what you want, there is no right or wrong. In certain situations you have to respond flexibly containing synonymous. My written settings refer to the normal average s.Aufnahmen not in extreme situations.

If you have LowLight know why it is actually here in the dark, I do press shots for a news channel, may suffer synonymous times the image quality, the main thing is to recognize the "plane crash" or "President overthrow" the performer. Here a + gain is allowed to go.

For beautiful pictures may sometimes synonymous synonymous part of the picture are really black, while the rest is still somehow illuminated with light. My darkest scene with the Canon was a boat transfer to the North Sea in winter clock at 4:30. It was in the shipyard all dark like a bear's ass.

Here are the tug captain to 10 euros in the hand and demanded that he turn on each lamp and each headlight and thus illuminates the ship. Thus enter with an open aperture, 1 / 25 shutter and +3 dB gain even more of a fair film the desired recording HD Tripod.

Eight times in Hollywood movies like hell there really in the night scenes. Without light, no recordings.

Buy you a strong head light, which causes many times small miracle.
