Hello!
I would like to buy a dvd from usa. it states ntsc region code 0. rc0 running here also. as with ntsc look like? can my tv but I find the manual of my dvd player does not - it's a sony, and about 4-5 years old. does it work?

You'd have to know exactly which player is. (somewhere would) draufstehen on the device.
Most DVD players can play as far as I know only one format ...

In the DVD player menu you can see in the settings, if your PAL and NTSC, or just make one. If you have a choice between the two formats, it can both ... if you do not find it certainly should only PAL. Here I have 3 player, 2 relatively old and can all NTSC and Pal.

Hi All,
The PAL TV standard is technically more demanding than NTSC, which reflect the many PAL DVD players "backward compatible" behavior - without hesitation and NTSC DVDs. My DVD player can all synonymous. ;-)

As I said was, it is very likely that this works. Synonymous, I'm such a DVD and so far there were no players problems. But a guarantee is not synonymous, of course ..
