Hy Guys!
I'm just about old 8mm film to digitize. (with the EX1)
But I fall on the dynamic range of the video is MUCH smaller than that of the original film. Dark and bright areas of loose drawing.
The whole I do with the glass screen.
New video cameras are better in this respect, or how deep you have to reach into his pocket?
Where to Get eingentlich information about it? On the websites I find nothing of the sort ...

Hello,
It is known that the dynamic range of video is much smaller than the chemical film. Modern professional cameras have now but a few tricks s.Bord to better coloration dark and bright areas.

Not necessarily, a modified DVX100A Varicam or at least have 9.5 screens and / or contrast sensitivity range.
